A Ministry of Remembrance. Some moments are too sacred to be forgotten.
As the Country Coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) South Africa, I have the profound honor of leading a team of photographers and volunteers who provide remembrance photography for families experiencing the unimaginable loss of a stillborn or terminally ill baby.
In 2006, I brought this life-changing ministry to South Africa, establishing the first local chapter of this U.S.-based non-profit right here in Cape Town. Since then, we have expanded to serve hospitals and families across the country, working alongside bereavement doulas and medical professionals to offer grieving families the gift of timeless, professional portraiture—free of charge.
What We Do

Support for Families in Crisis – Partnering with bereavement doulas and hospital staff to offer a gentle, loving presence during their time of loss.
